Setting up custom Risk Management

Note: Three pre-defined by PortfolioRunner team RM settings considered to be optimal ones, tested on virtual and real portfolios. It is strongly recommended to use one of those three options: Aggressive, Balanced or Conservative. Creating custom RM might be suitable for experienced traders with deep level of risk management undersanding.

To change risk management settings (for experienced traders):
1.     Click “RMSettings” button. Risk Management settings window appears.
2.     Select one of pre-defined parameter sets (Aggressive, Balanced, Conservative) from dropdown list or chose “Custom” and adjust parameters you want:
       a.    Volume, %:
       b.    History depth, days
       c.    Capital max fall, %
       d.    Capital max share, %
3.     Click “Save” and close settings window.

After you finished setting up filter and risk management, chose time period (by default you will receive current day recommendations) and click “Load”. Recommendations will appear in bottom right section.
Note: Quantity calculations for particular symbol are strongly connected with risk management settings, available cash (buying power) and also are dependant of other symbols selected for processing. The set of figures you receive is a result of multi-factor optimization.
