Trading Recommendations

PortfolioRunner gives you access to a number of proprietary and third party stock trading strategies. Generally, a trading strategy is a set of rules that determine stocks you need to buy as well as letting you know the right time to sell your assets. In other words, strategies generate stock trading recommendations when they recognize a certain pattern of stock's behaviour.

PortfolioRunner's trading strategies have been developed by a group of mathematicians, investment analysts and programmers and backed up by tens of years of research and development. The strategies have been carefully tested over the last ten years and proven to deliver sustainable results in various economic conditions.

There are three main types of investment strategies available through PortfolioRunner — fundamental, technical and social.

Technical Strategies

Technical strategies are based on the proprietary adaptive pattern recognition engine developed by PortofolioRunner. The engine analyzes stock charts on a daily basis and identifies certain technical figures and checks stocks against a set of technical indicators. The analysis is fully automated and performed by our proprietary stock analysis software.

Fundamental strategies

Fundamental strategies are based on analyzing news and other fundamental characteristics that help identify potentially growing stocks. Fundamental analysis involves examining related economic, financial and other qualitative and quantitative company related factors that can affect the security's value.
